The KO Cannon is a Hardmode flail that has a 1/5 (20%) chance of being dropped by Clowns. When used, it fires a boxing glove attached to the player via a chain. The glove retracts after contact on blocks or enemies, or after traveling 12 tiles.

Its best modifier is Godly or Demonic. Both modifiers increase the average damage output by the same amount. However, Ruthless might be preferred if the player already has very high critical strike chance.

Notes

The KO Cannon has no cooldown period; therefore its fire rate is dependent only on the distance to its impact.
In Don't dig up and Get fixed boi worlds, the KO Cannon receives the following changes:
- Switched place with the Chain Knife. As a result, it is dropped by Cave Bats instead of Clowns.
- Damage decreased from 40 to 18.
- Use time decreased from 28 to 25.
- Knockback decreased from 6.5 to 5.

Tips

Although generally not able to strike multiple targets simultaneously, its rate of fire increases significantly when at closer ranges. Therefore, the player will find fending off hordes of enemies easier once they begin to close in due to its high knockback.
