The Blowpipe is a pre-Hardmode ranged weapon that can found randomly in Wooden Chests near the Surface or in the Underground layer. When used, it fires Seeds and darts as ammunition. While a Blowpipe is in a player's inventory, there is a chance that any vegetation growing on normal grass, in Clay Pots, and in Planter Boxes will drop Seeds. Flowers typically drop 4 Seeds at a time, while tall grass typically drops 1–2 Seeds.

Its best modifier is Unreal.

Notes

The Seeds used by the Blowpipe cannot be planted. Conversely, seeds that can be planted cannot be used as ammo for the Blowpipe.

Tips

The Blowpipe is an efficient early-game weapon for eliminating distant foes, with a significantly higher range than the Wooden Boomerang, and with ammunition more easily obtainable than arrows.
