The Purple Clubberfish is a pre-Hardmode broadsword that can be obtained by fishing in the Corruption with a 1/10 (10%) chance with 100 Fishing Power, up to a maximum 1/4 (25%) chance with 300 Fishing Power.

Its best modifier is Legendary.

Trivia

• The Purple Clubberfish is one of the few fish that can be used as a weapon. Others include the Swordfish, Obsidian Swordfish, Frost Daggerfish, Bomb Fish, Bladetongue, Crystal Serpent, Toxikarp, Reaver Shark, Sawtooth Shark and Rockfish.
• It looks like a corrupted version of a Rockfish, with the Clubberfish's head actually being a recolor of the Rockfish's head.
