The Hellwing Bow used with Wooden Arrows to attack Target Dummies.

The Hellwing Bow is a pre-Hardmode, post-Skeletron bow that fires arrows inaccurately. When used, it converts Wooden Arrows into flaming bat projectiles that are unaffected by gravity, can pierce infinitely, and cannot pass through blocks. The Hellwing Bow has a 1/5 (20%) chance of being found in Shadow Chests in the Underworld, as well as a 1/5 (20%) chance of being found in Obsidian Lock Boxes obtained from Obsidian Crates and Hellstone Crates.

Its best modifier is Unreal.

Trivia

The Hellwing Bow has the lowest velocity of all arrow-firing weapons.
On the Console version and Mobile version, existing Sharangas were replaced with Hellwing Bows upon updating to the 1.3.0.1 equivalent.

Desktop 1.4.0.1:
- Damage increased from 20 to 22.
- Use time decreased from 14 to 13.
- Knockback increased from 5 to 5.5.
- Now obtainable from Obsidian Lock Box found in Obsidian and Hellstone Crates.
