The Drakanian is a Hardmode, post-Lunatic Cultist ground-based enemy that spawns in the area of the Solar Pillar during the Lunar Events. It can originally spawn riding a Drakomire, forming a Drakomire Rider, and each can be separately killed. Killing the Drakomire first will cause the Drakanian to fully heal and attack the player.

Notes

• The Drakanian shares the same banner with the Drakomire Rider. There is no extra banner just for the Drakanians.

Trivia

• The Drakanian's spear appears to resemble the Daybreak with the Solar Eruption's tip. Despite this, the Drakanian does not use it like the Daybreak normally functions, by clearly wielding it instead of throwing it.

• The Bestiary entry for the Drakanian: "These highly aggressive celestial soldiers carry a large, fiery spear that can melt nearly anything it penetrates."

History

 Desktop version

• Desktop 1.4.0.1: Killing a Drakanian now correctly adds the kill count to the Drakomire Rider. Previously, it would only be counted if the Drakanian was killed while it was riding the Drakomire. If the Drakomire was killed first, and then the Drakanian, the kill would not be counted.
