Notes

  • The explosion covers a 5×5-tile rectangular area centered on the point of impact.[1]
  • The Exploding Bullets apply 5 ticks of global immunity frame upon hit.[2]
    • This does not affect the exploding bullets themselves due to them being non-piercing projectiles, but can prevent their resulting explosions and other piercing projectiles such as Onyx Blaster's dark crystal from dealing damage.

Tips

  • Exploding Bullets are reasonably powerful bullets with a small area of effect and strong knockback, making them good for engaging large groups of enemies or segmented bosses.
  • The Tactical Shotgun works incredibly well with these, clearing out large groups of enemies very quickly.

History

  • Desktop 1.4.4:
    • Stack limit increased from 999 to 9999.
    • No longer inflicts self-damage.
