Notes

Tips

  • (Old-gen console version) Care must be taken when fighting in close quarters as the explosions can harm the player, especially when using high-damage weapons such as the Sniper Rifle.
  • (Old-gen console version) The self-damage of the Exploding Bullet is considered PvP damage. This means that it can only trigger 0.13 seconds (8 ticks[1]) of invincibility frames when it damages the user, and the user can respawn at full health if they died from it. The short invincibility duration can be exploited to create a highly damaging rain of stars with a Star Cloak.

Footnotes

  1. A tick is a time unit countable by the software. Most of Terraria's updating logic happens every tick. A tick has the length of 1/60th of a second, hence there are 60 ticks in a second and 3600 ticks in a minute.
