The Confetti Gun launching confetti.

The Confetti Gun is a consumable novelty weapon that fires a cloud of colorful confetti, and inflicts no damage. Its effect is purely visual and causes no functional effect. Confetti Guns are consumed upon use, and can therefore be used only once. They are purchased from the Party Girl for 1 SC each.

Notes

  • Though visually firing confetti, the Confetti Gun is unrelated to the Confetti item (a crafting material).
  • The Confetti Gun is not actually a gun that fires ammunition, but rather a single-use item more akin to a party popper.
  • The Confetti Gun is considered a ranged damage item internally, therefore it benefits from ammo conservation. However, this is limited to ammo conservation bonuses provided by armor items – the Magic Quiver, Ammo Box, and Ammo Reservation Potion have no effect on the Confetti Gun.[1]
  • The Confetti Gun's falling confetti is internally gore rather than projectiles.
    • This was most likely done to save space on projectile slots.
    • The gores occupy IDs 276 to 282.

Trivia

  • The Confetti Gun was celebrated as the 1000th item introduced to the game.[2]
