The Nano Bullet being used with The Undertaker.

The Nano Bullet is a Hardmode, post-Plantera bullet. It inflicts the Confused debuff on hit for 1–3 seconds, reversing enemy movement to make them run away from the player rather than towards them. Nano Bullets will also bounce off blocks towards the direction of the nearest enemy within a 50-tile radius, but will only deal 66% damage afterward.[1] They can only bounce once.

The cost of a stack of 50 Nano Bullets is 17 SC50 CC, which is 35 CC per bullet. The cost of crafting 1000 Nano Bullets (20 stacks of 50) is 3 GC50 SC.

Notes

  • Nano Bullets always inflict the Confused debuff onto enemies they hit. The debuff lasts either 1 second (2/3 (66.67%) chance) or 3 seconds (1/3 (33.33%) chance).[2]
  • Nano Bullets do not inflict Confused onto players during PvP.

Tips

History

  • Desktop 1.4.1:
    • Can now perform a homing bounce off of solid blocks.
    • Changed tooltip from "Causes confusion" to "Causes confusion and bounces back after hitting a wall".
