The Marshmallow is a food item that grants the Well Fed buff when consumed. This lasts for 1 minute, but can be canceled at any time by right-clicking the icon (Desktop version), by selecting the icon using Cycle Next/Previous Buff and then pressing Remove Buff (Console version), or by double-tapping the buff icon (Mobile version). Marshmallows can be purchased from the Merchant for 1 SC each when he is spoken to in a Snow biome.

The Marshmallow is also a crafting material used to craft the Marshmallow on a Stick, which can be turned into a Cooked Marshmallow at a Campfire, greatly extending its buff duration.

Like all other food items, the Marshmallow can be placed on a Plate: Marshmallow (on Plate).png

Tips

  • It is not advisable to consume Marshmallows directly, since cooking them raises their buff duration tenfold and requires merely a single piece of any type of Wood.

Trivia

  • The Marshmallow has the shortest duration of any food item in the game.
  • Its tooltip 'How many can you fit in your mouth?' is a reference to the recreational game "chubby bunny", which involves the placement of an increasing number of marshmallows into one's own mouth.
