The Molten Skull Rose is an immunity accessory that represents the final upgrade of the Obsidian Skull. It grants 7 seconds of immunity to lava, immunity from fire blocks, and reduces damage taken from lava. When worn, the item can be seen on the players head.

Notes

• The Lava Charm, Molten Charm, Magma Skull, Lava Waders, and Terraspark Boots all stack with the Molten Skull Rose to increase lava immunity by 7 seconds each. The Demonic Hellcart also gives an additional 7 seconds. Of these, only the Demonic Hellcart is not itself a Lava Charm upgrade.
  • In Classic Mode the player can equip 5 of these accessories and the Demonic Hellcart to increase lava immunity to a maximum total of 42 seconds.
  • In Expert Mode the player can equip and additional 6th accessory after consuming the Demon Heart, resulting in a maximum total of 49 seconds of lava immunity.

Tips

• Combining the Magma Skull and the Obsidian Skull Rose into a Molten Skull Rose is not recommended as each of the two crafting ingredients requires a single Obsidian Skull, ultimately wasting one of them.

  • Recipe now takes a Lava Charm instead of a Magma Stone
  • Now gives temporary Lava Immunity, instead of adding Hellfire to attacks
