The Megaphone is an immunity accessory that grants the player immunity to the Silenced debuff. It has a 1/100 (1%) / 199/10000 (1.99%) chance to drop from Pixies, Green Jellyfish, Dark Mummies, and Blood Mummies(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions).

It is one of the ingredients required to make the Countercurse Mantra, which is a crafting material required to make the Ankh Charm, an accessory further required to make the Ankh Shield.

While the Megaphone is exclusive to Hardmode on the Old-gen console version and Nintendo 3DS version, it can be obtained in pre-Hardmode on the Desktop version, Console version, and Mobile version by throwing a Nazar into Shimmer.
