The Gold Hammer is a pre-Hardmode hammer. Its counterpart is the Platinum Hammer. Like all hammers, it is used to remove background walls and create sloped tiles and half tiles.

Its best modifier is Legendary. However, due to rounding, Legendary, Light, Deadly, Agile, Quick, and Nasty provide equal boosts to mining speed for this tool.
