This is the Legacy page whose information relates to the article The Corruption.
It applies only to the Old-gen console and 3DS versions of Terraria, detailing their differences from modern versions.

On the Old-gen console version Old-gen console version and Nintendo 3DSNintendo 3DS version version, an area is considered a Corruption biome if there are at least 200 blocks of Corrupt grass or Corruption blocks present nearby.

On these versions, the Corruption cannot be chosen by the player upon world creation.

Notes

  • It is not possible to create an artificial Crimson biome in a Corrupt world on Old-gen console version Old-gen console and 3DSNintendo 3DS version without the use of another world.
