This is the Legacy page whose information relates to the article The Crimson.
It applies only to the Old-gen console and 3DS versions of Terraria, detailing their differences from modern versions.

On the Old-gen console version Old-gen console version and Nintendo 3DSNintendo 3DS version version, an area is considered a Crimson biome if there are at least 200 blocks of Crimson grass or Crimson blocks present nearby.

On these versions, the Crimson cannot be chosen by the player upon world creation.

Notes

  • It is not possible to create an artificial Corruption biome in a Crimson world on Old-gen console version Old-gen console and 3DSNintendo 3DS version without the use of another world.
  • Trees in the Crimson do not drop Acorns.

Trivia

  • Old-gen console version The achievement "Corruptible" refers to the Corruption. However, the Crimson appears to have no Crimson achievement equivalent.
