Legacy:Plantera

 

This is the Legacy page whose information relates to the article Plantera.
It applies only to the Old-gen console and 3DS versions of Terraria, detailing their differences from modern versions.

On the  Old-gen console version and Nintendo 3DS version, Plantera will always drop one of the following 6 items, all with a 16.67% drop rate.

• Grenade Launcher, along with 20-49 Rocket Is.
• Venus Magnum
• Nettle Burst
• Leaf Blower
• Flower Pow
• Wasp Gun

• The Axe with a 0.5% drop rate.
• Zapinator(3DS version) with a 1.25% drop rate.

Plantera's Expert Mode features are not present on these versions.

Aftermath

• On the  Old-gen console version and Nintendo 3DS version, Temple Keys can be combined with Biome Key Molds to craft Biome Keys. Biome chests can be unlocked pre-Plantera.
• (Old-gen console version) The Traveling Merchant begins selling the Pulse Bow.
• (Old-gen console and 3DS versions) The Witch Doctor begins selling several items related to minion summoning (some items additionally require a Pygmy Staff).

Trivia

• On the  Old-gen console version, the saving icon is one of the Thorn Balls that Plantera fires.
