The Prismatic Lacewing Jar is a placeable furniture item which displays the Prismatic Lacewing, normally a critter which summons the Empress of Light boss if killed. This item is a safe method of displaying captured Prismatic Lacewings. By throwing a Prismatic Lacewing Jar into shimmer, it can be converted back into its ingredients, gaining back the Prismatic Lacewing as an item.

The item cannot be used to summon the Empress of Light, and is purely decorative. A Prismatic Lacewing must be killed to summon the boss.
