Legacy:Pulse Bow

This is the Legacy page whose information relates to the article Pulse Bow.
It applies only to the Old-gen console version of Terraria, detailing its differences from modern versions.

On the  Old-gen console version, the Pulse Bow is only sold after Plantera has been defeated.

Notes

• On the  Old-gen console version, the damage reduction of the Pulse Bow's bolt is always 10%, regardless of whether it hits an enemy or ricochets off a block. For example, if used with Wooden Arrows, it will only deal 40 base damage (61.54% of the original damage) after five ricochets/enemies.

Tips

• Because the Pulse Bow cancels additional arrow effects, damage is the only factor that should be considered in choosing an arrow type. The highest base damage of 82 can be achieved with Venom Arrows.
• On the  Old-gen console version, both the Pulse Bow and the Stake Launcher's DPS (with Venom Arrows) is approximately equal, but the Pulse Bow is affected by the Archery Potion, pushing its damage higher, while the Stake Launcher is not.
