On the Old-gen console version and Nintendo version, the Blood Moon does not apply a red filter to the screen, and cannot be initiated manually due to Bloody Tears not existing in these versions. Deathweed Seeds can only be harvested during Blood Moons.

Tips
- During a Blood Moon in Hardmode, every enemy has a 1/1000 (0.1%) chance of dropping the KO Cannon. This means that even though it is rare, the large number of drop chances makes it easier to farm, and the KO Cannon is likely to aid a player in early Hardmode.
