Legacy:Chlorophyte armor

Old-gen console versionNintendo 3DS version
This is the Legacy page whose information relates to the article Chlorophyte armor.
It applies only to the Old-gen console and 3DS versions of Terraria, detailing their differences from modern versions.
The Leaf Crystal bonus from a full set of Chlorophyte armor triggered using The Undertaker and attacking a Skeleton.

On the Old-gen console version Old-gen console version and Nintendo 3DSNintendo 3DS version version, the Leaf Crystal's projectile is a green leaf that is not fired instantly and instead travels only at a moderate velocity, increasing the likelihood of missing, especially against targets that move around a lot, such as Wandering Eyes. It deals (Old-gen console version) 50 / (3DS version) 40 base damage and inflicts a base knockback of 5 (Average).

Crafting a full set with one headpiece requires a total of 54 Chlorophyte Bars (324 Chlorophyte Ore). Crafting all five pieces requires a total of 78 Chlorophyte Bars (468 Chlorophyte Ore).

Notes

  • The cooldown of the Leaf Crystal's first volley is longer at (Old-gen console version) 0.83 seconds[1] / (3DS version) 1 second[2].
    • This cooldown is reset when un-equipping a piece of Chlorophyte armor, and the volley is fired instantly when re-equipping it. The player can quickly switch one of the armor pieces with other armor to fire the projectile at a high rate.
  • The Leaf Crystal's second volley has no range limit. It might fire at targets that are very far off-screen.
