Legacy:Beam Sword
Beam Sword
On the
Old-gen console version and Nintendo version, the Beam Sword has different stats, and also has different mechanics.
Notes
- (Old-gen console and 3DS versions) The Sword Beam projectile has a cooldown of 1 second.
- While the cooldown is active, the player can neither switch items, look in another direction, nor utilize Auto Select, but they can continue swinging the sword.
- A small particle effect and the sound for restoring mana will notify the player of a recharged Sword Beam.
- The Frostbrand, an alternative to the Beam Sword, can pierce an enemy (Old-gen console and 3DS versions) once with its projectile, but its damage and swing speed are lower.
Trivia
- (Old-gen console version) The Enchanted Sword could be statistically considered a direct upgrade to the Enchanted Sword, given that it also lacks autoswing, and has a low use time, however it lacks the 30% size increase from recent updates, and has double the cooldown.
