Lò nung là một bàn chế tạo và hay được dùng để chế quặng thành thỏi, và dùng để chế tạo gạch quặng, và để chế tạo Thủy tinh và vài vật phẩm kính từ Cát, nhưng cũng được dùng chế tạo các vật phẩm khác như một vài vũ khí. Nó cũng là một nguồn sáng. Lò nung có thể chế tạo tất cả các quặng pre-Hardmode ngoài Hellstone, và phải được chế tạo ở một Lò luyện Địa ngục.
