On the Old-gen console version Old-gen console version and Nintendo 3DSNintendo 3DS version version, Water Candles cannot be turned off, and do not act as mechanisms. Furthermore, the area of effect of the Water Candle debuff is only a rectangular area of 100×84 tiles and cannot be crafted on these versions.
