Legacy:Wall of Flesh

Old-gen console versionNintendo 3DS version
This is the Legacy page whose information relates to the article Wall of Flesh.
It applies only to the Old-gen console and 3DS versions of Terraria, detailing their differences from modern versions.

On the Old-gen console version Old-gen console version and Nintendo 3DSNintendo 3DS version version, the Wall of Flesh will always drop one of the following 6 items, all with a 16.67% drop rate.

(Old-gen console and 3DS versions) The Hungries deal 75 damage and gain 40 defense when the Wall of Flesh's health is at <25%.

(Old-gen console and 3DS versions) The frame created from the boss's defeat is always made of Demonite Bricks.

(Old-gen console and 3DS versions) Like The Destroyer, the Wall of Flesh is one of the few bosses that does not despawn based on player distance. The Wall of Flesh only despawns once it reaches the far edge of the world, which also kills the player if they are there.

  • This also means that the Wall of Flesh does not despawn upon player death, possibly allowing one to carry on with the fight if they reach the Underworld quick enough before the Wall of Flesh reaches the end.

Heart Arrows(3DS version) will freeze the Wall of Flesh in place, as long as the arrows hit its mouth.

The Wall of Flesh's Expert Mode features are not present on these versions.
