Legacy:The Horseman's Blade

 

This is the Legacy page whose information relates to the article The Horseman's Blade.
It applies only to the Old-gen console and 3DS versions of Terraria, detailing their differences from modern versions.

On the  Old-gen console version and Nintendo 3DS version, the Flaming Jack deals 150% (112 base damage) of the weapon's damage and the Horseman's Blade does not create an orange circular slash when swung. The Horseman's Blade is dropped by the Pumpking during the Pumpkin Moon event with a 1.79–14.29% chance depending on the current wave.

Notes

• On the Nintendo 3DS version, hitting a critter will spawn a Flaming Jack.

Tips

• Using an automatic statue farm, it is possible to kill the statue-spawned enemies with The Horseman's Blade to make Flaming Jacks spawn and attack other foes, which is especially useful while fighting bosses and enemies during the Pumpkin Moon and Frost Moon.

Trivia

• It is the sword with the third highest base damage in the game in the  Old-gen console and 3DS versions, being beaten only by the True Night's Edge and the Terra Blade.
• On the  Old-gen console version, modifier prefixes are not added in front of "The" in the item's name, so grammatically incorrect names like "Keen The Horseman's Blade" do not occur.
