On the Old-gen console version Old-gen console version and Nintendo 3DSNintendo 3DS version version, the Starfury's star projectile deals 2× the sword's damage (44 base damage). The Starfury has a higher chance of being found inside Skyware Chests on these versions at 1/3 (33.33%).

Notes

  • (Old-gen console and 3DS versions) While the star projectile's cooldown is active, the player can neither switch items, look in another direction, nor utilize Auto Select, but they can continue swinging the sword.
  • (Old-gen console and 3DS versions) Stars can fly through blocks if they spawn within solid blocks, letting it function underground.

Trivia

  • (Old-gen console and 3DS versions) The stars of the Starfury deal the highest pre-Hardmode melee damage, 2 more damage than the Night's Edge.
