This is the Legacy page whose information relates to the article Souls.
It applies only to the Old-gen console and 3DS versions of Terraria, detailing their differences from modern versions.

On the Old-gen console version Old-gen console version and Nintendo 3DSNintendo 3DS version version, there are a total of 7 types of souls and with a max stack of 999. The Soul of Blight is exclusive to these versions.

In these versions:

  • Souls of Flight are dropped by Arch Wyverns
  • Souls of Might are rarely dropped by Lepus(3DS version)
  • Souls of Blight are dropped by Ocram

Additionally, all slimes (except King Slime) can drop Souls of Light and Souls of Night.

Tips

  • A very effective way to farm Souls of Night and Light is to craft a Slime Crown and summon King Slime in the appropriate Cavern biome. Each fight often yields over 20 souls from all of the slimes that are spawned.

Trivia

  • (3DS version) The Soul of Might is the only soul that is obtainable pre-Hardmode.
