It applies only to the Old-gen console and 3DS versions of Terraria, detailing their differences from modern versions.

On the Old-gen console version Old-gen console version and Nintendo 3DSNintendo 3DS version version, crafting a full set of Shadow armor requires a total of 60 Demonite Bars (240 Demonite Ore) and 45 Shadow Scales.

On these versions, the set bonus does not boost acceleration and deceleration speed, and instead merely grants a bonus of +15% movement speed. Furthermore, each piece of Shadow armor increases melee speed by 7% (for a total of +21%) instead of critical strike chance.
