Old-gen console versionNintendo 3DS version
This is the Legacy page whose information relates to the article Queen Bee.
It applies only to the Old-gen console and 3DS versions of Terraria, detailing their differences from modern versions.

On the Old-gen console version Old-gen console version and Nintendo 3DSNintendo 3DS version version, the Queen Bee does not have her own summon, charge, and death sound effects.

Bees do not drop Biome Key Molds(Old-gen console and 3DS versions).

(Old-gen console version) The Queen Bee should be farmed by summoner class players to craft a set of Bee armor, which is the only pre-Hardmode summoner armor set.

(Old-gen console and 3DS versions) Strangely, although being able to inflict the Poisoned debuff, the Queen Bee is not immune to it.

(Old-gen console and 3DS versions) The Queen Bee is the only boss that cannot be fought an infinite number of times per world, due to her summons being non-renewable. There is a limited number of both larvae to directly summon the boss and Hive blocks to craft the Abeemination.

The Queen Bee's Expert Mode features and Enraged form are not present on these versions.
