On the Old-gen console version Old-gen console version and Nintendo 3DSNintendo 3DS version version, the Philosopher's Stone has a (Old-gen console version) 1/7 (14.29%) / Nintendo 3DS version 1/6 (16.67%) chance to be dropped by Mimics. The reduction on the duration of the Potion Sickness debuff is determined when the potion is consumed. If the Philosopher's Stone is equipped when the potion is consumed, then the duration will be decreased by 25%, and unequipping it afterwards has no impact on the remaining duration.

Tips

  • Because the effect only applies the instant a recovery potion is consumed, it may be preferable to keep the Philosopher's Stone in a vanity slot and only swap to it when consuming a recovery potion.
