It applies only to the Old-gen console and 3DS versions of Terraria, detailing their differences from modern versions.

On the Old-gen console version Old-gen console version and Nintendo 3DSNintendo 3DS version version, the Frozen Turtle Shell grants the player +30 defense while they are below 25% health. The Ichor debuff reduces the defense of affected entities by 20 on these versions.

Maximum defense

The highest possible defense of 128 can be attained using the following setup:

Armor (76 defense)
Accessories (42 defense)
  • At night or day (depending on Moon/Sun Stone), at low health
  • Warding modifiers on all accessories
Buffs (10 defense)
